Company denies responsibility for injury at work

Fachtna O’Driscoll Solicitors LLP. represented a client who was employed by a large multinational company. He was injured while at work but the company initially refused to accept responsibility for the accident. Our client suffered a number of different injuries including injuries to his neck and back; however the Personal Injuries Board was not able to assess the Claimant. Ultimately, then, it was then necessary for us to issue court proceedings. However, our solicitors were able to secure a very good settlement for our client’s injury at work without him having to go to court to give evidence.
