Burns From Boiling Water

Fachtna O’Driscoll Solicitors acted for a client who suffered burns from boiling water due to a defective pressure cooker. As it was a claim that came under the Liability for Defective Products Act it was necessary to identify the producer. The claim settled after it was lodged with the Injuries Board and the Defendants had been identified. An issue arose in relation to an engineering inspection of the cooker which we dealt with on behalf of the client.
